Terms & Conditions
A Legal Disclaimer
The terms outlined on this page represent MeshForge's standard business practices and policies for custom fabrication services. This document is not a substitute for professional legal advice. While these terms are intended to establish clear expectations between MeshForge and its customers, they have not been reviewed by a licensed attorney and may not address every situation or comply with all jurisdictional requirements. If you have questions about your rights or obligations, we recommend consulting with a legal professional. By engaging MeshForge's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
Terms & Conditions - The Basics
Project Approval & Final Sale
All custom work is considered final once the customer approves the completed project. Approval may be given via email, text, or through the project delivery process. Once approved, no refunds or returns will be issued.
Customer-Provided Materials
MeshForge specializes in custom fabrication using fresh, sourced materials. If you request customization of an item you already own, you must sign a Customer-Provided Material Waiver before work begins.
By signing, you acknowledge:
-
Custom fabrication carries inherent risk including potential damage or destruction of the item
-
MeshForge is not responsible for replacing, repairing, or compensating for any damage to customer-provided items
-
You accept full responsibility for the outcome
If your item is irreplaceable, sentimental, or cannot be substituted, we strongly recommend against customization work. Please consider having us fabricate a replica or alternative instead.
Material Deposit
A material deposit is required before production begins. This deposit covers the cost of sourcing materials specific to your project.
-
The material deposit is non-refundable once paid
-
If you cancel after the deposit is collected, materials may already be purchased or work may be in progress
-
Cancellation forfeits the deposit but releases you from the remaining balance
Payments
MeshForge uses a three-step payment structure:
-
Consultation Fee — Due at booking, reserves your consultation time
-
Material Deposit — Due upon project agreement, covers material costs
-
Final Payment — Due upon project approval, covers labor and completion
Final payment is not collected until you have reviewed the finished work and confirmed it meets expectations.
Shipping & Delivery
-
MeshForge will replace or refund items lost or damaged during shipping, provided a claim is filed with the carrier
-
Once the item is delivered and in your possession, no returns or exchanges will be accepted
-
Shipping costs are non-refundable
Revisions & Scope Changes
-
Each project tier includes a specified number of revision rounds
-
Revisions beyond the included rounds may incur additional charges
-
Significant scope changes after production begins may require a revised quote and additional deposit
Timeline Estimates
Project timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to material sourcing, equipment maintenance, or workload. MeshForge will communicate any significant delays promptly but is not liable for missed deadlines.
Limitation of Liability
MeshForge's total liability for any claim related to a project shall not exceed the amount paid for that project. MeshForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Intellectual Property
-
Designs created by MeshForge remain the property of MeshForge unless otherwise agreed in writing
-
Customer-provided designs remain the customer's property
-
MeshForge reserves the right to photograph completed work for portfolio and promotional use unless the customer requests otherwise in writing
Right to Refuse Service
MeshForge reserves the right to decline any project for any reason, including projects deemed outside our capabilities, inconsistent with our values, or not a good fit.
